Dr. Michael Curran

Dr Curran qualified from University College Cork in 1987 and graduated from the Cork GP training scheme in 1991 with membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP). He commenced practice in Moate in 1995. He is a trainer with the Ballinasloe General Practice Training Scheme which involves mentoring and training GP registrars. He holds Higher Diplomas in Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Therapeutics and Dermatology.

 

His special interests include Dermatology and Minor Surgery.

 

Dr Clodagh Mahon

Dr Clodagh Mahon qualified from Queen’s University Belfast with first class honours in 2012. She then joined the Ballinasloe Specialist Training Scheme in General Practice where she completed her memberships with the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP). She has attained a number of Higher Diplomas. These include a Diploma in Obstetrics and Women’s Health, Diploma in Child Health, Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine accredited by the ICGP and European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care. Her areas of special interest include female health, child and adolescent health and psychiatry.

Dr. Fiona Lee

Dr Lee is a native of Galway and graduated as a doctor in 1986 from NUI Galway. She travelled to the UK and the Channel Island to gain her membership (MRCGP) in General Practice and further Higher Diplomas in Paediatrics (Dch) and Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DObs), Family Planning (Dip FP) and Family Planning Training. Her special interests encompass all areas of family medicine.

Dr. Gerard Lynch

Dr Lynch qualified in Medicine from NUI Galway in 1977 and commenced practice in Moate in 1981. He opened the Medical Centre in Moate in 1995. He is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners and holds higher diplomas in Child Health (Dch) and Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DObs). His areas of special interest are Rheumatology and Men’s Health.
