We offer an emergency service for a wide range of medical problems and minor injuries which need to be seen on the same day but are not severe enough to warrant immediate referral to the emergency department.
The range of medical problems includied in this are outlined below
children who are unwell with fever
minor injuries including head injuries and lacerations
new onset of chest pain or shortness of breath
it is important to note that we do not deal with routine GP care in this clinic. Repeat prescriptions and nonurgent medical problems are not dealt with.
Priority wil be given to infants and children who are unwell. These will be seen as soon as possible by the GP.
