it is good practice to attend for advice if you are planning to become pregnant.
We can discuss any problems and arrange tests as necessary.

we offer a full range of options including the combined pill, mini pill, Mirena coil, injectable contraception, and emergency contraception.

we provide a full assessment and detailed advice on management strategies for this condition.
Cervical screening
cervical screening is available to all women from the age of 25 to 60.
This test screens for cervical cancer. You can register with cervical check at cervicalcheck.ie
A smear test is a simple procedure that takes only a few minutes and is an effective way to detect changes in the cells of the cervix.
The best time to attend for your smear is midcycle that is 10 to 14 days after the first day of your period.
Between the ages of 25 to 44 you are entitled to a smear once every 3 years. If you are between 45 and 60 years old you will be invited for a smear every 5 years.
Breast check
we advise all women to perform regular self checks for breast lumps.
If you find a lump we will provide an urgent assessment and referral appropriately.
